The Student Welfare service is aimed to those students who experience personal problems and have nobody to talk to.

The LCPS commitment offers:

  • Someone to listen - and offer confidentiality.
  • Someone to offer advice and recommends support - and offer confidentiality.
  • Someone to give relevant Information - and offer confidentiality.
  • To refer you to a professional counselor if appropriate.

The Student Welfare service is available to all students who may be experiencing problems such as difficulties with coursework, problems settling in, homesickness, bullying, financial difficulties, health issues, family problems, abuse.

Who to talk to?
The course lecturer, Student Union President or Vice-President or Principal and, if appropriate a referral to an outside professional will be offered.
